Warm core valley exit jets at Cubitt Invites 2025 with Uta Kögelsberger
A mash-up of historical meteorological and contemporary storm-chasing phrases as metonymic English landscape; expressing the monumentality of climate change and the intersection of language and allegory within its history, contemporaneity, and speculative future.
I invited Uta Kögelsberger to show in my studio for Cubitt Invites 2025 as, for me, her work falls within this bracket of competing demands of confronting climate change that is both poetic and political, a space of 'æffect', that is inclusive yet uncomplacent.
